P2P Greeniz Camp in Kinabatangan, Sabah

Malaysians between 16 and 22 may become peer-to-peer educators about the environment through a learning experience at this annual camp. By exposing students to the experience of the rainforest it is hoped they will return home to share with their peers its value, and the need to protect it. The Star newspaper supports this venture. Shell Malaysia and New Straits Times campaign in Schools
An environmental awareness campaign begins with journalism workshops for 800 students and 200 teachers. They will draw up lists of important issues and develop a manifesto for change. Students' work will be published on the NST's site NiEXUS. This will be followed by an "Online Newspaper of the Year" contest and a Shell-NST "Inventors Contest" concerning ecology.

Hope For Cancer Cure In Borneo's Rainforest
A cancer cure from Borneo's microbes and microorganisms might possibly be found in the pristine rainforest. An announcement by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Primary Resources, Dato Paduka Awg Hj Hamdillah in delivering the Heart of Borneo project at the recently concluded Brunei Forum in Singapore.

Brunei Shell Petroleum Company is teaming up with the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources (MIPR) to fund the development of a blueprint for Brunei's role in the Heart of Borneo initiative.

ISB 5th Borneo Global Issues Conference 2007
The Borneo Global Issues Conference is now a Brunei Tradition. It is a three-day, student run MUN (Model United Nations) conference that brings together secondary school pupils from around the region to discuss major global concerns of the day. In this forum, aspiring young men and women will debate key issues and produce resolutions on these issues in a mock United Nations simulation.
